How to Tell if You Might be a Full Time RVer…

HomeySweetHomey
When we started out on our journey, we thought that it would be like all of our other trips, just better because it wouldn’t ever end.  As time went on though, we discovered that there are a few differences between taking a camping trip and full time RVing.  So we decided to take a moment and point out how you can tell if you are a full time RVer in true “Jeff Foxworthy” style…

If you can tell when the black water tank is almost full, just by the sound that it makes when you flush… you might be a full time RVer.

If the view out your front window changes more often than the seasons… you might be a full time RVer.

If buying something new means getting rid of something else of equal size or weight… you might be a full time RVer.

If you think that dumping the black water tank is a great way to meet your new neighbors… you might be a full time RVer.

If everyone you meet either wishes they were you, or thinks you are out of your mind… you might be a full time RVer.

If “Keeping up with the Joneses” means leaving the RV park at the same time they do and following them down the highway at sixty miles per hour… you might be a full time RVer.

If the most used apps on your phone are Google Maps and Gas Buddy… you might be a full time RVer.

If buying in bulk means getting the regular sized box of cereal instead of the single serving packets… you might be a full time RVer.

If you routinely pick up more ‘gifts’ left by other people’s pets than you do from your own… you might be a full time RVer.

If you regularly have to stop for gas… multiple times a day… you might be a full time RVer.

If there is a steering wheel in your living room… you might be a full time RVer.

If people you meet ask you where you are from and you have to think about it for a moment before you answer… you might be a full time RVer.

If you can wake up at the sea shore in the morning and turn in for the night in the same bed on the top of a mountain… you might be a full time RVer.

If you go to bed each night thinking you are the luckiest person on earth and wake up each morning knowing that you are… you might be a full time RVer.

Yes, we full time RVers are a different breed.  We’re a little quirky, and we go our own way, even when we aren’t sure where the road may lead.  It’s a journey.  Not the same journey that we started out on, but one that has become our way of life.  It may not be for everyone, but then again, I think that there is a little full time RVer in each and every one of us, just waiting to be let out!
