Pumpkin Oatmeal

PumpkinWhat could be better than waking up at the campground on a fall morning to the sweet and spicy aroma of pumpkin baking?  This slow cooker recipe is not only delicious, it is so easy that it cooks itself while you sleep!

Ingredients:
2 c long-cooking oats, uncooked
1 c pumpkin pie filling
2 c milk
2 c water
1/4 c butter
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Mix together all ingredients in a lightly greased slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a drizzle of maple syrup.
