If you like caramel apples, then you will love this recipe. The only thing that would make it better is a scoop of ice cream on top! Don’t forget to line the inside of your dutch oven for this recipe though, because the ooey gooey goodness of the caramel can make cleanup a bear.
1 Dozen Apples, cut into large pieces
1/4 C Butter
1/4 C Brown sugar
Slice butter into chunks.
Put all ingredients into a large plastic bag. Shake to mix.
Once ready to bake, dump the contents of the bag into a foil lined dutch oven.
Place dutch oven on medium coals and add some coals to the on top of the oven.
Cook about 15-20 minutes
