Class B RVs… The Compact Camper
If the thought of driving a Class A or Class C, or pulling a Travel Trailer or Fifth Wheel is enough to send shivers down your spine, then a Class B may be the perfect RV choice for you. Class B motorhomes, or van conversions as they are also known, provide many of the comforts of home in a small footprint. Manufacturers add a variety of features such as kitchens, bathrooms, and sleeping accommodations, but other than the addition of a raised roof, the living space in a Class B is constrained by the dimensions of the van. The Cool Class C
A great choice for small families, couples or snowbirds, the Class C has all of the conveniences of a larger motorhome in a scaled-down size and at a lower price. The Class C is built on what is known as a cutaway van chassis. This means that the entire front of the vehicle is of the same general construction as a van or a pickup truck. In fact, one of the defining features of the Class C is how the cab of the RV is tucked in beneath an overhang that generally contains an overhead sleeping area. Continue reading “The Cool Class C”
