S’more Smores

The first published s’mores recipe appeared in the 1940 Girl Scout Handbook.  That was a long time ago!  Are you tired of the same old s’mores?  Do you think that it is time to change things up?  Try some of these variations!

Fudge Stripes S’mores

Ingredients:
1 package Keebler Fudge Stripes cookies
1 package large marshmallows

Directions:
Roast your marshmallow over the campfire on your fire-stick.

When marshmallow is done, place it between two cookies and gently pull the marshmallow off the stick.

Sprinkled S’mores

Ingredients:
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 bag of marshmallows
toppings

Directions:
Melt chocolate in aluminum pie plate or disposable bread tin.

Roast your marshmallow over the campfire on your fire-stick.

Roll marshmallow in melted chocolate, then roll in your favorite topping.

Topping ideas: crushed graham crackers, nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, etc…

Peanut Butter S’mores

Ingredients:
graham crackers
miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups
marshmallows

Directions:
Toast the marshmallow.

Place one peanut butter cup on a graham cracker.

Top with the toasted marshmallow and a second graham cracker.
