Internet on the Road

If you are like Bruce and I, you like to stay connected, even when on the road.  There are many who would disagree with this idea and say that it is “not camping”, but if information technology is your business like it is ours, then you can’t afford to fall off the grid.  Over the years, we have used several methods to stay connected.  Each one has its pros and cons.   We will outline them here and you can make the choice that is right for you. Crock Pot London Broil

Here’s one that gets rave reviews!  Throw this dinner together in minutes, but make them think that you slaved over it for hours.  They will be begging for seconds when they eat this yummy roast beef.  It makes its own gravy and can be served with mashed potatoes and a vegetable to make a complete meal with very little effort at all. Autumn Tea

A sweet tea with juice and pumpkin pie spices, this drink is perfect to enjoy around a campfire on a cool autumn weekend.  This is a non-alcoholic beverage, but either rum or vodka could be substituted for some of the water in this recipe to make an alcoholic beverage. Zesty Chicken

Make this zesty Italian chicken in the crock pot and serve it up with some mashed potatoes for an easy but satisfying camping meal.

 
Ingredients:
whole chicken (backbone removed-for smaller crock pots) or 4 -6 Breasts
1 small onion, sliced
1/4 cup Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing

Directions:
Add chicken and Italian Dressing to slow cooker

Slice onion and add to slow cooker

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours

Use the broth to prepare the gravy.
